Youth Tennis Program Finds Early Success

About 140 kids signed up for initial program.

Early efforts of a group trying to grow tennis in Oak Creek and the South Suburban area have proven successful, organizers say.

About 140 kids signed up for the South Suburban Milwaukee Community Tennis Association's initial program, group president Mark Osiecki said.

The program is run in conjunction with the United States Tennis Association. USTA officials said the high participation rate "set the bar for a new program," Osiecki said.
