Oconomowoc police arrest 50-year-old after report of armed individual (bnd.com) — Oconomowoc police arrested a 50-year-old man after reports of someone walking near Second and Franklin streets with a machete and airsoft rifle, and later firing a .22-caliber rifle. No one was hurt, but investigators recovered the weapon, referred recklessly endangering safety charges, and are asking residents with information or video to contact Detective Chris Moss.
3. Oconomowoc shots fired over missing cats, man charged: prosecutors (fox6now.com) — An Oconomowoc man faces misdemeanor charges after police say he fired a .22-caliber rifle into his neighborhood, hitting a neighbor's tire and lawnmower during a dispute tied to his missing cats. Officers responded near Second and Franklin, later finding a hidden rifle and noting earlier reports of him intoxicated, carrying a machete and airsoft gun, and upsetting neighbors.
4. Week 6 Sports OnFocus Computer Rankings (onfocus.news) — Oconomowoc's football team slipped in the statewide Division 1 computer rankings after a loss to Arrowhead, but still sits among Wisconsin's top programs. The updated OnFocus list reshuffles contenders across all seven divisions and 8-player, highlighting which schools are surging and which dropped after Week 6 results and corrections.
