Aurora Health Care honored with American Heart Association / American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines® - Quality Achievement Awards

Aurora Health Care has been recognized for its commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of care to stroke and heart failure patients with Get With The Guidelines^®– Quality Achievement Awards from the American Heart Association / American Stroke Association.

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center was the only hospital in Wisconsin to receive the Get With The Guidelines^®– Heart Failure Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award and the Get With The Guidelines^® - Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. These awards recognize commitment and success in implementing quality standards of care for stroke patients and signify that Aurora St. Luke’s has reached an exceptional goal of treating heart failure patients.

The following medical centers received the Get With The Guidelines^®–Heart Failure Silver Quality Achievement Award in recognition of their aggressive goal of treating heart failure patients according to the guidelines of care recommended by the American Heart Association / American College of Cardiology:

Additionally, Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington and Aurora Lakeland Medical Center have been recognized as recipients of the Association’s Target: Heart Failure Honor Roll, for improving patient care and reducing hospital re-admissions.
