Community Corner

United Way of Northern Ozaukee

The United Way of Northern Ozaukee Board of Directors and Heritage Society Chairs are pleased to announce that through the generosity and support of the community, the 2013 Community Campaign goal of $250,000 has been attained. This would not have been made possible if not for the generous efforts, donations and pledges received from residents, local and regional businesses, their employees, and Heritage Society members.

Just five years ago our goal was $180,000. Sadly our agencies have shown a growing need and have asked us for much more needed resources. You in the community responded and today we have raised over $70,000 more donations. Your generosity and support of the United Way will help ensure our most needy neighbors receive the help they need.  Together, with your help we are helping build and support a stronger community.

In addition to the residential campaign support we would not have reached our goal without the continued support of our local businesses. This year’s largest corporate campaigns include: Charter Steel, Port Washington State Bank, Ansay and Associates, Allen Edmonds and Aurora Health Care.

By supporting the United Way Campaign, donors help local families, the elderly, the developmentally disabled and the unfortunate. Donations are also used to support programs that provide services to the children in our community.

Our heartfelt thanks to the community for their support of the 2013 United Way Campaign. Together we can LIVE UNITED by Giving, Advocating and Volunteering in our community.
