Tough week for Ripsharks lacrosse against two Top 5 teams
RIpsharks knocked out of top 10 in state with losses to two top five teams.

On Monday night the Lakeshore Ripsharks lacrosse team hit the road to take on Franklin at the Milwaukee Sports Complex. In a low-scoring contest, Lakeshore walked away with a 6-1 and climbed to a #7 ranking in the state.
Evan Heimerl and Dakota Kwasny each had two goals and Quinten Ziegler and Patchen Tews had one apiece. John Jaekels and Grant Brogan each had an assist. Ziegler also won 8 of 9 faceoffs.
On Wednesday, the Ripsharks went to Carroll University to take on fifth ranked Waukesha. Though the Ripsharks outscored Waukesha for the final three quarters, they couldn't overcome a 4-1 first quarter deficit in a very physical game. Special teams played a major role in the game as Waukesha racked up 16 penalties and Lakeshore had 11 in the 9-7 loss.
