Yes — 147 million ... astonishing, isn't it?

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in September of 2010 there were 408,425 children in the foster care system waiting to be adopted into a loving family.

Thus this event will help sponsor not only children worldwide but in your own backyard. As of January 2011, there are 6,785 children in Wisconsin who are part of the foster care system.

If the run/walk doesn't interest you visit the silent auction and bake sale. There are various items up for bid such as an authentic Prince Fielder jersey, Packer memoribilia, gift card and a gift certificate for a ride to school in a Port Washington Fire truck!
