What Makes a Good Customer Relationship?
The importance of good customer relationships from a manager's point of view.

What makes a good customer relationship?
I believe the basis of a great customer relationship is trust. The customer should expect courtesy, accuracy, and a willingness to help from us as a business. In return we expect courtesy from the customer as well. Business owners and managers that I have met are always willing to go that extra mile for their great customers and new customers as well.
Loyal customers are a huge asset to local businesses. At we have a great customer base. Many of our shoppers have been customers since our days on Wisconsin Street in the former Video Plus building. One of our employees has even been with us since those days! We appreciate everyone who shops locally and keeps their funds in the Port Washington community. Our owner lives right here in Port Washington and you will see him in here almost every day, as well.

As a manager at the store I really enjoy having a positive conversation with customers. I have gotten to know so many wonderful people through my job here. Some customers do not even have to ask for something when they walk in the door. I already know what they’re going to want and have it ready by the time they reach my desk. That familiarity is something you can only get in a small town setting.
Some customer experiences are also negative and we strive to keep those to a minimum. If you ever have a bad experience with a product or employee at our store please ask to speak to a manager. There is always at least one of us on duty and we all want you to have a positive experience at our store. We do everything that we can to help our customers get what they need.

Meeting great people is one of the perks of my job. I always enjoy sharing
a laugh with our customers. I know that when I patronize other businesses it is always nice when the staff are friendly and welcome you to their store. Taking
the extra time to greet customers or ask the simple question, "How are you
today?" is not only good customer service, but creates a good relationship with
customers as well.
