Why I'm Running for the Saukville Village Board
I am a mother of two, looking to bring a new perspective to the Sauvkille Village board.

With election day just over two weeks away on April 2nd (and early voting starting March 18 at the Village Hall during regular business hours), I thought I would give the residents of the Village of Saukville some information about me, and why I’m running to be a Village Trustee.
A few months ago, my friends and I were having our weekly coffee, and chatting about our kids, and what our weekend plans were. We started talking about how we had to come all the way into Port Washington to enjoy our weekly coffee. Saukville used to have two coffee shops, but both have been closed for years. That led to more conversation about the lack of business and development in Saukville as a whole. It started an idea in the back of my head. Maybe someone could help make changes. Maybe that someone could be me? So here I am, a mom from Mill Street, running for Village Trustee.
I have lived in Saukville for seven years with my husband, Tom, and think I would bring a fresh perspective to the Village Board, especially being the mother of two young children.

I also think that I can bring a different view where business is concerned. Saukville is a picturesque place to raise a family and live, but we also need businesses not only to frequent ourselves, but to draw people to this area. The current board has made some decisions that do not put forth the image of a community that is open for growing and cultivating new business. I hope to change that.
