Charla Morrison is Named Wisconsin Association of Staffing Services' Staffing Employee of the Year
SEEK employee, Charla Morrison, is named Staffing Employee of the year
Charla Morrison, a machine operator and customer service representative with SEEK Careers/Staffing, Inc., was recently named Staffing Employee of the Year by the Wisconsin Association of Staffing Services (WASS). The award recognizes temporary employees who have exemplified outstanding dedication and work ethic.
Charla came to SEEK for assistance in finding work after her release from prison. Lacking the experience and qualifications for a clerical position, she was placed as a machine operator in SEEK’s light industrial division. After a short period of time, Charla was injured on the job. While doing light duty at SEEK’s corporate office in Grafton, she eagerly attacked every assignment that was given to her. Charla displayed qualities that every employer values, commitment and enthusiasm. She completed each task efficiently and always asked for more work.
“Not only did Charla exceed expectations, she took advantage of the opportunity to enhance her office skills through tutorials and testing,” says Sherry Farver, District Consultant at SEEK. “Her positive attitude exemplifies one of the greatest aspects of working in the staffing industry, the opportunity to give someone a second chance at a career.”

Charla was quickly hired on full-time with a SEEK client. She attributes her success to the opportunities that she received as a temporary employee.
Recipients of the WASS Staffing Employee of the Year award are determined by employer testimonials, and demonstrated excellence when performing on-the-job duties. Charla was honored at Miller Park on September 23rd for her excellence.
