Dickmann Easily Elected to Another Term in Saukville
Village president wins by 17 percent margin but calls it a "close race."

With election results just in, Saukville Village President Barb Dickmann will keep her position for another term.
Dickmann, who has served as village president since 2003, received 579 of the 996 votes, or 58 percent in Tuesday's election. Her opponent, Mike Rintelman, received 415 votes, just more than 41 percent of the vote.
Calling it a “close race,” Dickmann said that she’s relieved that the elections are through.

Now, with another term ahead of her, Dickmann said that her primary focus will be to look at the budget carefully and make sure citizens understand the changes that may occur.
“We want transparency in our government,” she said.

Saukville village trustees Mike Krocka, Joe Caban, and Dave Maglio, all of whom ran unopposed, will maintain their positions for another two years.
There were two write-in votes for the Saukville village president spot, as well as 21 write-in votes for trustee positions.
