Dieringer Closes in on Third WIAA Title

Port Washington senior scores major decision in 145-pound semifinal in Madison.

Alex Dieringer actually had to wrestle three full periods on Friday for the first time in this year's WIAA tournament, but his match was hardly competitive.

The Port Washington senior scored a 16-3 major decision over Ryan Gartner of Wilmot to advance to the 145-pound Division 1 championship match on Saturday at the Kohl Center.
