Doug Niemeyer Promoted to General Manager for TEKLYNX Americas

TEKLYNX International, the world’s leading barcode and RFID labeling software developer and solutions provider, today announced the promotion of Doug Niemeyer as general manager for North, Central and South America. Successor to Laura Henderson, who has moved into an advisory role, Niemeyer is responsible for the continued growth and success of the TEKLYNX Americas’ business headquartered in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin.

For over 30 years TEKLYNX has helped companies operate smoothly and efficiently by implementing barcode labeling solutions that streamline operations while staying ahead of industry-specific compliance and emerging regulations. Entering its next generation with new leadership, TEKLYNX Americas is eager to strengthen existing markets while targeting new ones by leveraging its motivated, agile team dedicated to ensuring customers can successfully run and grow their businesses by staying ahead of the curve.

As TEKLYNX Americas’ new General Manager, Niemeyer is responsible for sales growth, business strategies, and product development (including enterprise label design, printing and management solutions), while advancing channel management, marketing and sales effectiveness, along with services, support and maintenance in the Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) space.

Before his promotion to General Manager, Niemeyer was sales director at TEKLYNX where he significantly grew the Americas business unit spanning North, Central and South America as well as Australia and New Zealand. In addition to continued success with TEKLYNX International, Niemeyer is a father of three and a dedicated volunteer (Boy Scouts, athletic coach, board member for the Port Washington Youth Baseball and Softball Association) in his home town of Port Washington, Wisconsin.
