Finding My Way Back: New Exhibition Explores Self-Discovery Through Art and Experiences

Stacey Carlson, a Wisconsin-based artist, presents a new body of work shaped by a journey of self-discovery and personal reconnection.

Three years ago, Stacey packed up her car, her dog, and a month’s worth of supplies and provisions and set out headed west - guided more by intuition than a clear destination. What unfolded was a period of reflection, movement, and rediscovery.

Throughout that journey and into the studio, music from her younger years became a companion-reconnecting her with a sense of identity and grounding that would ultimately shape this collection.

This exhibition is a culmination of that experience. Each piece captures a fragment of the journey-through layered color, atmosphere, and emotion—offering viewers a glimpse into moments that lingered long after they passed.
