Newcastle Place to sponsor Kids & Seniors Day at Lakeshore Chinooks game
Newcastle Place residents to throw out first pitch, perform flag ceremony for national anthem
Newcastle Place, a full-service senior living community in Mequon, will sponsor Kids & Seniors Day at the Lakeshore Chinooks baseball game on Tuesday, June 30, when the Chinooks play the Kenosha Kingfish at 11:35 a.m.
“Newcastle Place residents and staff are excited to come and enjoy a day out with members of the community, all while supporting a local Mequon team,” said Julie Bissonnette, executive director of Newcastle Place.
Kids and senior citizens can attend the June 30 game for just $9, which includes a reserved grandstand ticket, a hotdog, chips and a drink. In addition to the special offer, fans can enjoy a pre-game parade around the field and post-game base run, as well as an autograph opportunity with Chinooks players.

Newcastle Place resident Jim Partelton, will throw out the first pitch, and Newcastle Place resident Ken Nelson, a U.S. Air Force veteran, will perform the flag ceremony for the national anthem.
“The Chinooks are so thankful for our fans,” said Eric Snodgrass, director of sales and promotions of the Lakeshore Chinooks. “We are excited to partner with our neighbors at Newcastle Place to show our mutual appreciation for the Mequon community.”
