Photos: Port Washington Varsity Cross Country Teams Compete in Sectionals
Both the girls and boys teams earn respectable third and fourth places at the Division 2 sectionals Saturday.
Port Washington cross country varsity teams competed against 12 female and 13 male teams at the WIAA Division 2 sectional held in Saukville Saturday.
The Pirates boys took third, led by Jason Marhal in 10th. Other finishers were Jack Skelton-Mill (16th), Eagan Norman (22nd), Billy Ernest (30th), Joe Bortolotti (38th), Matt Froelich (40th) and Taylor Godersky (42nd).
The girls team was fourth, behind the ninth-place finish of Bianca Benkley. Other finishers were Abby Kotecki (16th), Bonnie Allen (24th), Brenna Russell (28th), Maggie Kotecki (33rd), Brianna Ahner (59th) and Anna Bartlein (61st).
