Port PD: Hunters Advised to Leave City Property

A roundup of recent activity from the police blotter also includes truancy, disorderly conduct and laptop theft.

Hunting season has rules and regulations for a reason, and luckily these local hunters were found on private property before any harm was done.

The hunters were found on the land behind the J. Miller Electric at 1:45 p.m. Dec. 1. is now city property, and they left without any altercation, according to police reports. The electric company is located on South Park Street.

This story is a friendly reminder to always double check hunting schedules, regulations and locations before proceeding on land with firearms.

  • Technology drain: A 43-year-old Port Washington man reported two laptops were missing from his home in the 100 block of East Prospect Street. The man said he suspected his girlfriend's 19-year-old daughter had stolen the items.
