Port Washington hosted Whitefish Bay for a boys-girls varsity basketball doubleheader on Tuesday, but dropped both games to its North Shore Conference rivals.

The Pirates boys lost 71-55 despite 19 points from Joey Burbach. The girls were beaten in the opening game 44-23 and were led by Caity Tydrick's nine points.

Port Washington's boys are at Appleton West on Thursday, and the girls host Howards Grove the game night.
