Reignwolf, all I can say is Awesome!

Weeks ago I was invited by the Rave to come check out a new artist, Reignwolf. Since it was free I decided to go despite it being a work night. Boy am I glad I did! Reignwolf was fantastic!

The lead guitar and vocalist, Jordan Cook is going places and anyone that can ride along with him should. I honestly can’t wait to catch another show. He is amazing to watch, its almost as if he is in another world when he is on stage performing. Like Jack White he kinda has a stage voice and persona that is amplified and fantastic. Their sound is a mix of many others but still completely their own, I hear a little Chris Cornell influence as well as Jack White and Dave Grohl. Its a bluesy, metal, rock that you can’t help but love.

During the show I went to, it was an intimate gathering of 50-100 people, just in one of the bars at the Rave, Jordan at one point, letting his bandmates take a break, played guitar, drums and sang all at the same time. He also doesn’t stand still well and enjoys jumping around the stage, keeping the energy level that much higher.

At one point he even brought his kick drum down to the floor by the audience and played intimately with us. The way he keeps the audience captured is amazing to watch and I honestly think this kid is gonna go places that most musicians only dream about.
