For the past 22 years I've been telling myself that my dad just likes to lecture my brother and I. But during this pivotal year in each of our lives, my brother and I have realized that maybe he actually knows what he's talking about! Our dad, Pete, has always taught us to work hard but to have as much fun doing it as we can. My dad has worked his tail off to support our family and his wisdom comes from those experiences. My brother and I both graduated from college this year and have looked to my parents for guidance on how to start the rest of our lives. The best advice I've received from my dad? "Relaxxx!!!" He knows how stressful this time in our lives is and wants to make sure we don't get too caught up in it. Now that I realize he isn't just lecturing me, I think I'll take my dad's advice! Because of him, I know that all the obstacles to come can be resolved; I just need to RELAX!
