Come see our special exhibit, "Technology of the Times"! The people of the Victorian era were gadget lovers and highly inventive folks. During the last half of the nineteenth century, many of our everyday tools were invented, such as the Domestic sewing machine in 1861. Visit the Eghart House on Sundays now through the final day of the season, Sunday September 1, to get a glimpse of the implements we take for granted today, but were “cutting edge” inventions during the Victorian era years of 1837- 1901. On Saturday, August 3, the House will be open for tours also.
