  • Hands on activities for kids of all ages
  • Adult educational stations
  • Scavenger hunt
  • Bouncy house obstacle course for the kids
  • Information booths from many of local environmental organizations
  • Local food carts
  • And, of course, the baby sturgeon release! A suggested donation to the “Return the Sturgeon” restoration project allows you to release a baby sturgeon into Lake Michigan.
  • In addition to hand releasing a sturgeon, sponsors receive a certificate, magnet, and an opportunity to register one of the sturgeon – all the sturgeon are tagged (similar to how pets are micro chipped). If a sturgeon is every captured with your tag number, you’ll be notified!
  • This is a family event with children and adult activities, educational displays, and much more! Food will be available for purchase throughout the event.
