TJMS JIU-JITSU STUDENTS MAKING THE GRADE!
Seamless Progression Academy supports the Jaguar Parents Group by offering rewards to those who meet scholastic benchmarks!
The Seamless Progression Academy of Martial Arts would like to congratulate our Thomas Jefferson Middle School members Alex, Ben, Jordan, Patrick, and Sarissa for achieving Academic Excellence this quarter.
Our martial art (Jiu-Jitsu/Judo) holds education in highest regard and was infact created by a famed educator, polymath Jigoro Kano. Dr. Kano spent time as a Teacher, Professor, Dean, Director of Primary Education at the Ministry of Education of Japan, and as the first Japanese representative to the International Olympic Committee. The art he systemized and that we instruct is the study of applied science (leverage and mechanics) for self-defense and sport. It is founded on two principles - maximum efficiency/minimum effort and mutual benefit.
The Jaguar Parents Group in cooperation with local merchants offers rewards to those who meet scholastic benchmark. To be recognized as having attained Academic Excellence students must achieve a 3.0 Grade Point Average. If you are not yet a member of Seamless Progression Academy but have achieved Academic Excellence at Thomas Jefferson Middle School, feel free to stop by our dojo for a FREE WEEK of classes!
