My Dad always let me know that no matter what happens, no matter what I do, no matter how much I think I messed up, he will always love me. Some might take this as a free pass to do whatever they want without consequences. Not me. This pushed me to accomplish things that made him proud. It makes me want to be just like him. Hearing my Dad say, “I’m proud of you” still makes me smile and still pushes me through life to be the best I can be.
