The Southeast Wisconsin Tour de Cure bike riders need your help as a volunteer for the American Diabetes Association (ADA) on Saturday June 15, 2013 at Grafton High School. Tour de Cure is an annual fundraising event to help the ADA in their mission to prevent and cure diabetes. Over 400 people who have raised money for this cause will ride their bikes along one of four routes on the Ozaukee Interurban Trail. They will start and end their chosen routes in Grafton High School’s parking lot. Food and entertainment will be provided by the ADA and their sponsors. The ADA is reaching out to communities of Southeastern Wisconsin for volunteers on the day of this special event. Volunteers would be needed for two-hour shifts anytime from 4a.m. – 6 p.m. to help with set-up and take-down, manning route rest stops, parking, food service, or route safety. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt for their assistance. For more information on the Tour de Cure or to volunteer at this event, please visit www.diabetes.org/tdcsewi, or call Jacalyn at (414) 778-5500 ext. 6502.
