Woman Accused of Using Step-Moms Credit Card Without Permission
Port Washington suspect allegedly charged more than $500 to her step-mother's credit cards and she will now faces charges of forgery.

A 31-year-old Port Washington woman is facing charges after she allegedly used her step-mother’s credit cards to purchase items from area stores.
Danielle T. Obey was charged in Ozaukee County Circuit Court on March 20 with two counts of forgery and four counts of fraudulent use of a credit card. If convicted, she faces up to 15 years in prison and $60,000 in fines.

On Feb. 16, Obey’s step-mother called police after she discovered Obey had made unauthorized charges on four of her credit cards. She said she confronted Obey after finding a card in her bedroom, but she had since left the residence and was staying elsewhere.
Obey used the cards at area store to purchase items. A total of $520 was charged to the cards.

She will make her initial appearance in court at 8 a.m. April 12.
