Despite recent struggles, Shell Lake gets a quick chance to regroup, with another matchup against Webster coming up shortly after Rice Lake faces the same opponent.
• Spooner Man Arrested for 6th OWI Offense (drydenwire.com) — A Spooner man was arrested Saturday morning on suspicion of his sixth OWI after a traffic stop for expired registration, then taken to Indianhead Medical Center in Shell Lake for a lawful blood draw. He was later booked into the Washburn County Jail, and authorities emphasize that all charges remain accusations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
