1-Year-Old Girl Killed, 3-Year-Old Boy Injured; Man Arrested in Homicide Case

A 21-year-old man has been arrested, implicated in the death of a one-year-old girl and injury of a three-year-old boy.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A 21-year-old man has been arrested, implicated in the death of a one-year-old girl and injury of a three-year-old boy. In a second incident, a three-year-old boy died on Milwaukee's north side.

Milwaukee Police are investigating the death of a child that occurred around 11:30 a.m. on June 4 inside a home in the 5200 block of N. 38th Street.

Upon their arrival, officers found a deceased 1-year-old female. The victim suffered from numerous physical injuries and an autopsy will be performed Monday.

A second child inside the home, a 3-year-old male, also suffered from physical injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment where he remained in stable condition.

A 21-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested in connection with this crime. Milwaukee Police investigation is ongoing and at this time, MPD is treating this death as a homicide.

3-Year-Old Boy Dies

Milwaukee Police responded to a sudden death around 10:20 a.m. on June 4 inside a home in the 5800 block of N. 39th Street. Upon their arrival, officers found a deceased 3-year-old male. The early investigation reveals no signs of trauma and an autopsy will be performed today. Our investigation is ongoing.
