The
Bay View Wine Fest will celebrate its 10th annual event Friday,
March 7 and Saturday, March 8 at the Historic Marian Center in Bay View. The event will
take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. each evening. Partial proceeds from the event
will benefit WAGGR (Wisconsin Adopt a Golden Retriever).
The
Bay View Wine Fest, which has long been a part of Milwaukee’s cultural scene,
features an enchanting evening of superb wine tasting, delicious samples of
food from local establishments, music and dancing. The event will also offer attendees
the opportunity to purchase local art by Art & Soul, a contemporary gallery located in the Washington
Heights neighborhood of Milwaukee.
Admission
for the Bay View Wine Fest is $30 and premier wine tasting tickets are
available for $65. Premier wine tasting tickets include the new “International Passport”
Wine Flight,
which consists of a selection of superb, higher-end wines from around the
world, presented by three Sommeliers—Frank Merenda with Merchants Di Vino,
Brian Trupke from Liliana’s Restaurant in Madison and Jeff Cox, with Wine Maniacs on the River in Milwaukee. To purchase
