95-Year Old Former French Spy in Nazi Germany to Speak
Chabad of the East Side and the Holocaust Education and Research Center to host "Behind Enemy Lines," a lecture by Marthe Cohn

As a part of its Adult Education initiative, Chabad of the East Side and the Holocaust Education and Research Center are hosting “Behind Enemy Lines”, a lecture by Marthe Cohn, this Thursday, January 7.
Born in Metz, France, in 1920, Cohn joined the intelligence service of First French Army to fight against the Nazi. Posing as a German nurse trying to obtain word of her fictional fiance, Cohn traveled the countryside and approached troops sympathetic to her plight, thus obtaining critical information for the Allied commanders.
Marthe Cohn penned her memoir “Behind Enemy Lines: The True Story of a French Jewish Spy in Nazi Germany,” in 2002. She lives in Pales Verdes, California, and travels internationally sharing her remarkable story.

“Behind Enemy Lines” will take place on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Chabad of the East Side, 3030 East Kenwood Boulevard in Milwaukee. Doors open at 7:00 pm, lecture begins at 7:30 pm. Book signing will follow the lecture. The fee is $10/Advance, $15/At the door, $5/Student.
