Alexander Technique & Yoga

By the time many of us reach adulthood, we have compromised and restricted our natural poise and buoyancy through habit, without realizing it. The Alexander Technique is a method for recognizing and ‘unlearning’ these habits and patterns through a process that allows you to understand what you habitually are doing compared to what you think you are doing. The Alexander Technique builds on your ability to bring awareness to your activities, so that you will stop, think, and rediscover freedom in movement. In this workshop, we will be looking at how the Alexander Technique can help our everyday life and yoga practice.

This workshop will be lecture/demonstration-based with some yoga practice. Space is limited to 12 participants.
