The 2014 Milwaukee Armed Forces Week, to be held Monday, May 12 – Saturday, May 17, invites the public to attend several exciting events throughout the week to show support of our troops. This year’s theme is “Forward with Dignity.”
The Armed Forces Week Golf Outing will take place Friday, May 16 at 9 a.m. at Muskego Lakes Country Club, located at S100 W14020 Loomis Road in Muskego. The cost is $75 per player, and includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart rental, two beverage vouchers and a Texas-style barbecue lunch. Registration is limited to the first 120 paid golfers. Deadline for entry is Friday, May 9. The 2014 Milwaukee Armed Forces Week, to be held Monday, May 12 – Saturday, May 17, is a joint effort of the Milwaukee Armed Services Committee, comprised of members of the United States Army, Navy, Air Forces, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and National Guard, as well as Milwaukee-area citizens and veterans. Its mission is to increase public understanding of the role of the military in a democratic society as well as honor and acknowledge Milwaukee area men and women serving in the Armed Forces of the United States.
