Armed Robbery in Shorewood Saturday; Police Asking for Public's Help to Locate Suspect
A man brandished a gun, reportedly making off with a man's car, property in the back alley on the 4400 block of N. Frederick Ave.

SHOREWOOD -- Shorewood police are asking for your help to locate and arrest a suspect in an armed robbery that happened Saturday in Shorewood.
In that incident, a man brandished a gun, reportedly making off with a man's vehicle and other personal property in the back alley on the 4400 block of N. Frederick Ave.

On Saturday, September 10, 2016, at about 3:15p.m., Shorewood squads were dispatched to an armed robbery 4400 N. Frederick Ave. The suspect approached the victim in the alley and displayed a handgun demanding the victim's personal property.
The suspect also stole the victim's vehicle and fled the scene in the victim's vehicle prior to police arrival.

The suspect was described as a black male, early 20s in age, 5'9" tall, 160-170 lbs., medium build, with two braids in the back of his head, wearing a black t-shirt and black pants.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has additional information is urged to contact the Shorewood Police Department.
