Communications Operator - Sinai - Full-time - 2nd shift

Position Description

Operates various systems to support and coordinate call handling and placement, paging, alarm, and emergency condition responses. Responds to and operates multi-function work stations, paging systems (overhead and pocket pager), emergency hotline and alarm devices for the purpose of answering, connecting, and directing calls to appropriate locations, and to facilitate hospital response to emergency situations.

Provides an expeditious communication link between in-house and on-call personnel, patients, and caregivers in routine, urgent, and emergent medical and non-medical conditions, through the use of information binders, on-call schedules, personnel lists, hospital safety procedures, and relevant department policies and procedures.
