Chain Reaction 3: A Responsive Art Concept
16 artists are linked together by their reactions, creating original works responding to the piece created by the person working before them
This show represents the work of 16 artists linked together by their reactions. The works are numbered in the order that they were made. Artists had only one week to react to the artwork that was created by the person working just before them. Each reaction reveals ideas related to an artist’s personality, visual style and his or her view of the world. All of the work is connected by the shared love of making things and the willingness to find inspiration from another artist’s ideas.
