SHOREWOOD, WI — A federal civil court case filed by a former employee of Dr. Noah's Ark Veterinary Clinic in Shorewood accuses the business' owner of sexual harassment and discrimination.

The clinic is accused of discriminating against the employee on the basis of her sex, according to a complaint filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. The case further alleges the clinic harassed or tolerated sexual harassment against the employee.

The former employee accuses Dr. Noah Arnold of "habitually" engaging the employee in conversations that were "appalling and disgusting," according to the federal court filings. Arnold is accused of detailing affairs he had and other sexual conduct, the complaint says.

Arnold is accused of putting the former employee into inappropriate situations, such as accompanying him to one of his mistress's homes, the complaint says. After those visits, Arnold would "describe in detail his sexual activity," and show the employee "graphic sexual photos the mistress sent to him," the complaint claims.

At one point the civil complaint accuses Arnold of using the employee's phone to look up former employees and making lewd comments about photos of her. The complaint accuses Arnold of taking the employee to house calls while he was shirtless and consuming drugs during the ride.

Arnold told Patch Friday he denies the claims in the lawsuit and that he is seeking a lawyer. "I'm going to fight this," Arnold said. "People are trying to take advantage of me," Arnold claimed.

It's not the first time Arnold has been sued. CBS 58 reported another suit about sexual harassment arose in 2020.

The complaint claims the conversations and behavior led to unlawful discrimination from the clinic in its toleration of Arnold's sexual harassment, violating the former employee's civil rights.

The employee was fired in March 2021, which the complaint argues was retaliatory. The complaint says the former employee "felt trapped and did not think anyone at the clinic could help her."

The discrimination and harassment have caused damages to the former employee, the civil complaint says, including back pay, lost earnings, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life, medical expenses, attorney's fees and more.

The complaint demanded a jury trial. Defendants include Noah Arnold, his clinic Dr. Noah's Ark Veterinary Clinic, and their insurance company. The veterinarian clinic is located at 4604 Wilson Drive.

In 2018, Arnold was featured by Inside Edition and CBS 58 for songs he played on the guitar for animal patients.
