North Shore Bank's Shorewood branch, located at 4414 N. Oakland Avenue, will host local artist, Theodore Friedman, on Saturday, Aug. 25. The public is invited to meet Ted and view his work, which includes photography, paintings and sculptures, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
“We are especially excited for Ted’s photograph display this month,” said Michelle Padovano, branch manager for North Shore Bank. "Ted’s display features historic photographs of our city, which is a real treat for the Milwaukee community. We invite everyone to stop by and view his amazing work.”
Ted became interested in photography at an early age, using his toy soldiers as photograph subjects for inspiration. He joined the U.S. Army at 18 with aspirations to become a novelist. Ted later received a degree in psychology and worked in psychotherapy, where his interest in ink blots fueled an interest in painting. Ted continues to paint, sculpt and photograph works for himself and the public.
