NSPN Event: Assistive Technology and Adaptive Living

WHO: Parents, educators, professionals and community members with interest in the special educational needs of students in the early childhood, elementary, middle and high schools of the North Shore and beyond


WHAT: Please join the discussion led by our panelists: Shelly Weingarten MEd OTR, CESA #1 Assistive Technology consultant; Diana Sullivan, Disability Rights and Accessibility Specialist at Independence First; and  Michelle Silverman, MS OTR, middle and high school based occupational therapist.  Each will draw on her expertise, both professional and personal,  to offer food for thought on integrating low to high assistive technology and adaptations in the school, home and community lives of kids with differing abilities.
