The District’s SNACPAC committee presents Fresh. The movie profiles the farmers, business people, and thinkers across the nation who are at the forefront of re-inventing America’s food system in a more sustainable fashion. Among the many visionaries who are profiled in this documentary is local sustainable farming leader and MacArthur Genius Award winner Will Allen of Growing Power. Join us for this important look at a new paradigm based on sustainable food practices that can be profitable and a model for our food system. The SNACPAC committee focuses on the physical activity, health, and nutrition of the students.
