Find your way Back to Nature at the Milwaukee Art Museum

This Sunday, visit the Kohl's Art Generation Studio for free!

On Sunday, March 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Milwaukee Art Museum invites the public to experience Kohl’s Art Generation Family Sundays: Back to Nature.

Through the Kohl’s Art Generation program at the Museum, families can discover the beauty of the American landscape through the eyes of painters in Nature and the American Vision: The Hudson River School. Children and parents get to “hike” together through the exhibition with Angie Tornes from the National Park Service, celebrating its Centennial. Families can also sing around a communal “campfire,” paint a beautiful landscape from the Museum’s windows, and create a nature study from live plants, among other exciting educational activities.

While at the Museum, visitors can pop into the Kohl’s Art Generation Studio for more hands-on art activities, or the Kohl’s Art Generation Gallery: Rubbish! to explore how artists use discarded materials to make their artwork.
