Family Shabbat Dinner with Dr. Gill Heart PhD
As a part of its Family Shabbat Dinner series, Chabad of the East Side is hosting Dr. Gill Heart, a former Special Forces officer in the Israeli Defense Force. Heart will teach participants how to control their responses to everyday stress triggers based on the unique training methods of the Special Forces soldiers. Heart implements scientific, clinical, and Kabbalistic knowledge to help participants master their reactions to stress.
The Family Shabbat Dinners promise an evening of delicious food, inspiration, and the joy of Shabbat. The twenty-four hour period beginning at sundown each Friday is the traditional Jewish Sabbath, and is customarily a time for family and community gatherings. At the Family Shabbat Dinners, participants are treated to gourmet four course dinners, thought-provoking discussion, and uplifting song, in a warm Jewish environment.
