GOVERNMENTAL COST OF WAR.

GOVERNMENTAL COSTS OF WAR: GENERATIONAL LOSSES TO HUMANITY. Those of us most inclined toward war in our anger and perhaps in this form of human madness tend to tone down its cost, one of the greatest costs of government, in its actuality and in the events that war produces. We also tend to postpone our financial obligations by creating a deferment account referred to as the national debt. Today, we are learning that there is tremendous long-term cost, other than the conduct of war itself, especially when it comes to treating returning wounded veterans. Those of most us most inclined toward the war that brought about those wounds aren’t as sure as to how deal with the health of returning soldier as we were about going to war in the first place. We’d rather deal with the glory of war as a subject of discussion rather the destruction and havoc it brings on peoples’ lives. Even in the midst of having to deal with wounded soldiers of on-going war, some would have us engage in war events in various parts of the world merely so that we are not to appear weak. Our present hospital and health facilities it would appear are overwhelmed in providing the needs of our returning soldiers and veterans of other wars as well. Those whom we have elected to office, especially those who see our glory in the form of war are now critical of the manner in which we attend to our returning soldiers and indeed they should be. Can they please present us with some solutions rather than mere sideline political antics? What is the battle plan for this event? How did we get here? How do we get out of this situation? Do we shoot the general in charge? Is that the military thing to do? In battle we might need additional troops. In the immediacy of battle, perhaps additional assistance might help while we are given additional time to determine what the other remedies might be. Any suggestions, other than shooting our leaders or re-organizing the whole battlefield during battle, any suggestion that might relieve the immediate situation and might be helpful in winning this battle should be appreciated.
