Kohl's Art Generation Family Sundays: Dia de los Muertos
Free event with admission for families at the Milwaukee Art Museum this Sunday!
On Sunday, Oct. 18, families are invited to visit the Milwaukee Art Museum for Kohl’s Art Generation Family Sundays: Día de los Muertos, an artful celebration of the traditional Mexican holiday remembering loved ones who have passed.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Museum-goers of all ages can immerse themselves in the culture and traditions of Mexico’s Día de los Muertos through festive art activities and live performances. Additionally, families can add their mark to a marigold mural that Kohl’s Color Wheels will display at the Day of the Dead Parade on Saturday, Oct. 31. Prior to the event, participants can add their creative flair to a sugar skull face from the KAG website, and bring it to the Museum to add to the community ofrenda on Oct. 18.
Kohl’s Art Generation Family Sundays events are always free with Museum admission. Kids 12 and under are free!
