On Sunday, May 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Milwaukee Art Museum welcomes the public to participate in Kohl’s Art Generation Family Sundays: Play on Words.
Visitors are invited to make a book with an artful cover, artwork made of letters, and more, as they explore how words can become art during this hands-on, fun-filled family day. Museum admission to this particular Family Sundays event is free while the Museum’s Collection Galleries are undergoing construction and the next feature exhibition is being installed.

While at the Museum, kids and families can drop by the Kohl’s Art Generation Studio and enjoy a fun, interactive space designed to foster an appreciation for art through hands-on projects—which is currently open every day the Museum is open. This space is made possible through $6.3 million from Kohl’s Cares to the Milwaukee Art Museum.
