Brew Fitness, the new studio that allows its patrons to grab a beer from the front desk after each work out, is opening its doors to the public on July 25. An outdoor mural is also planned for the front of the fitness studio.

Village President Meets With WisDOT: Lake Drive Trees
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation met with Village President Ann McKaig to discuss plans for the 2026 Lake Drive reconstruction. A newsletter from the Village Manager said that WisDOT intends to maintain the width of the road.
Looking Ahead
Construction On Oakland Avenue Begins Monday
Pavement resurfacing begins Monday on the section of Oakland Avenue from Edgewood Avenue until Capitol Drive. The project will last until about mid-August and will change the traffic pattern in the area.

- The Shorewood Board of Review Meeting is happening on Wednesday, 5:30-7:30 p.m. To object to a property assessment, there are steps that must be taken before Monday.
- The 2nd Annual Shorewood Feast was planned for 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on September 11. The festival will bring a celebration of the fall harvest to Oakland Avenue.
