Mattress Store Mocks 9/11 In Tasteless Commercial [VIDEO]
As Wisconsin prepares to mourn the loss of thousands, one company received death threats after making a commercial that made a joke of 9/11.

WISCONSIN -- As Wisconsinites will take time to reflect on the 15th annual memorial of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Friday memorials are planned across the state, and the anniversary date is known as Patriots Day.
Almost beyond belief, one retailer managed to joke, mock and exploit that day all in a 19-second video. It has been called "tasteless" and a mockery of a day which witnessed a staggering human cost.

The commercial, posted on Facebook by the Miracle Mattress store in San Antonio, shows a salesperson advertising the company's Sept. 11, "Twin Tower Sale," alerting customers they can buy any size mattress on the day of remembrance at a twin-mattress price.
The commercial ends as two men go tumbling backward into two "towers" of mattresses.

And the kicker?
"We'll never forget," the salesperson says with a smirk on her face.
Later Thursday evening, Miracle Mattress owner Mike Bonanno released a longer statement on the Facebook page, calling the video "tasteless and an affront to the men and women who lost their lives on 9/11."
He added that he will "hold my employees accountable for this serious lapse of decency." Bonanno did not elaborate on what exactly that would entail.
Things got so bad for the company, they closed the store Thursday due to receiving death threats.
