mentor 2.0: a new way to mentor
Change a child's life for the better, forever with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee NEW mentoring program.
Are you looking to positively impact the life of a youth in the community? You can help a student realize they have the potential to excel in college and beyond! Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee (BBBS) is actively seeking volunteers for their new mentor2.0 program. This unique program allows you to mentor a Veritas High School student from almost anywhere through planned curriculum, weekly email communication and once a month in-person meeting. mentor2.0 is proven to help students develop a true college readiness, graduate high school and succeed in college!
Mentors in the program say they feel more connected to their community, have greater job satisfaction and develop leadership skills in the process. Veritas is located on the south side of Milwaukee, on 31st and Oklahoma. 80% of the students identify as Hispanic, and almost all are first generation college graduate hopefuls. If you are looking to mentoring a high school student, this is the program for you!
