Milwaukee Art Museum Hosts Kohl's Art Generation Open Studio: Painted Stories
Family fun at the museum all November long!

The Milwaukee Art Museum invites kids and families to stop by the Kohl’s Art Generation Studio to create art inspired by artwork in the Museum. For the month of November, travel through the painted narratives of the feature exhibition Of Heaven and Earth: 500 Years of Italian Painting, and learn how to tell a story with artwork. Have fun painting layered landscapes, and then add characters to them like the eighteenth-century painter Paolo Anesi. Learn how to draw parts of the face and to invent characters with dramatic personality!
The Kohl’s Art Generation studio is the place to engage in ever-changing hands-on art projects and create something all your own to take home. Each month Open Studio features a different theme, so come back each month to experience something new!
Kohl’s Art Generation programs are free with Museum admission. Kids 12 and under are always free.
