Milwaukee Art Museum - Kohl's Community Free Day: Fresh Family Fun
Free Museum admittance this Sunday, Dec. 6, thanks to Kohl's!
On Sunday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., families are invited to explore the newly renovated and expanded Milwaukee Art Museum during Kohl’s Community Free Day. The Museum will host a variety of family-friendly hands-on activities, performances, and interactive experiences, all for free thanks to Kohl’s! Families can build a sculpture out of colorful materials, draw new views from the Museum’s east addition, contribute to a community mural, sketch from the Collection, and more!
Kids and families can also check out the new Kohl’s Art Generation Gallery: Rubbish! and explore artists who use discarded materials to create their beautiful and one-of-a-kind artwork. Attendees are also invited to check out the new the Kohl’s Art Generation Lab: Haitian Art to enjoy Haitian storytelling, check out a newly updated iPod Touch Tour, and visit works of art that are “old friends” (and make new ones!), all at no cost.
