Mother and 11-Month-Old Child Die In Hit-And-Run
A 22-year-old Milwaukee man has turned himself in after authorities say the crash he was involved in resulted in the death of two people.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A 22-year-old Milwaukee man has turned himself in after authorities say the crash he was involved in resulted in the death of a mother and her infant child.
Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened around 1:15 a.m. on October 2 in the 3500 block of W. Capitol Drive.

According to Milwaukee police, a 22-year-old man was driving his Honda CRV westbound on W. Capitol Drive when he disregarded a red stop light and struck a Lexus.

The victims inside the Lexus, a 27-year-old woman and an 11-month-old girl, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect was later taken into custody at a local hospital. Milwaukee police say their investigation is ongoing.
