New Furniture Store Invites Shoppers to 'Netflix and Chill'
"Sex sells" is the old adage, and the name of a new furniture store in Milwaukee is causing people to do a double-take.

MILWAUKEE, WI β "Sex sells" is the old adage, and the name of a new furniture store in Downtown Milwaukee is causing people to stop and laugh, or take a photo for its modern innuendo.
Admir Aganovic took over a sleepy northside furniture store and renamed it "Netflix & Chill Furniture Store"
In a WISN Report, Aganovic said, "I figured you're laying on your couch, laying on your bed, so why not call the store that?" Aganovic said. "That's where it stops."

But does it really?
The term "Netflix and Chill" is a modern-day expression (gee thanks, Millenials) for an invitation to watch Netflix together with a built-in invite for sexual activity.

It wasn't always this way. According to Wikipedia online, the first recorded use of the phrase "Netflix and chill" was in a tweet 2009 tweet. Early uses were without sexual connotations, but by 2009, however, Netflix and Chill grew into an internet meme and took on a sexual innuendo.

According to Aganovic, though,he told WISN that the "Chill" has nothing to do with any sort of coupling while watching television. "I'm not saying come here and buy a bed set so you can go home and Netflix & chill," Aganovic said in the interview. "I'm saying come here and buy a bed set."
